Now that all sorts of new games are getting off the ground and I'm having a ~fresh start~ with RP, I feel like pimping some
fantastically amazing games that could always use more awesome writers!
With Wolves →
full premise via
withwolvesWith Wolves is a Biblically-themed paranormal game, complete with angels, demons, and psychics,
oh my! It has a unique posting style which I derive great enjoyment from:
communicating on the Ether is like writing the hybrid child of journal comments and descriptive prose, and it's great fun. Any and all sorts of original characters are welcome, but we could do with more fully-fledged (ie, not fallen!) demons and angels.
The game has also borrowed bits and pieces from the atmosphere and mythos of the DC comic
Hellblazer, so on a personal note as the John Constantine player, I would sell my soul (har har) for a good & canon-compliant
Chas Chandler, or the succubus
Chantinelle/Ellie. Since that series (...and the Bible) is the only canon in a game of original characters, I would obviously want to talk things over with any prospective
Hellblazer applicants -- but I swear I don't bite! :D
Opens
July 25th.----------
Kingdom University →
full premise via
walterdisneyKingdom University is an alternate universe Disney-oriented RPG, set in college; each original character embodies a certain Disney character archetype. The company and its certain animated films don't exist in KU's universe; instead, the entirety of the Disney World resort in Florida is actually a town named Kingdom, where our wacky, lovable characters happen to reside. The game opened on
July 12th, so it's brand spanking new and I'm already a lot in love with it. Give it a peek! And indulge the child of whimsy in the 90s that you used to be.
You know you want to.Incidentally, it wins virtual cookies for being the most ethnically diverse RPG I've ever been in. Seriously.
